I grew up with disordered eating as a young girl that turned into an eating disorder as a young adult. I quickly realized those tactics were harmful, but I didn’t have the education to know what to do to safely lose the weight AND keep it off. I tried so many diets.
At my highest weight, I was obese, had extremely high blood pressure, pre-diabetes, and depression. Today, I’m in a normal weight range, my blood pressure is normal, and my A1C is finally down to a normal range. I no longer suffer from depression. I have discovered some new passions along this journey, including nutrition, longevity and finding activities that I really ended up enjoying, such as yoga, Pilates and spin.
I know losing weight and keeping it off isn’t easy because I went through so many obstacles myself, including being picky about food.
If there was hope for me, there is hope for you!
